Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 23, 2026
App Machine SIA ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Truck Doctor mobile application (the "Service"). This policy describes the app; the rest of this website is a promotional website for adults and is not part of the Service. Truck Doctor is a game about fixing trucks, designed for young children (ages 2–5) and offered in the Apple App Store Kids Category.
Protecting children's privacy is central to how the Service is built. This policy explains what little information we handle, why, and the choices you have. In short: we ask for no names, emails or contact details, we show no advertising inside the app, we track no one across other apps or websites, and we never sell data. What we do handle is a random device identifier and basic technical information needed to run the game, described below.
Our Commitment to Children's Privacy
Truck Doctor is designed to comply with the Apple Kids Category requirements, the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, including its provisions for children (GDPR / GDPR-K). Accordingly, the Service:
- does not ask for or collect a name, email address, phone number, postal address, or precise location, from children or adults;
- contains no advertising and no in-app links out to other websites without a parental gate;
- uses no advertising SDKs and no behavioral tracking;
- relies on a small number of service providers — for hosting, for handling subscriptions, and for spotting technical faults — none of which receives information that identifies a child;
- does not use device data for behavioral advertising, profiling, or tracking across other apps or websites;
- does not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.
Information We Collect
Anonymous device identifier
To let the game remember a device between visits, we store a randomly generated identifier in a single first-party, strictly-necessary cookie. This identifier is not the advertising identifier (IDFA), is not a device fingerprint, and is not linked to any real-world identity, name, or contact detail. It cannot be used to identify a child.
Anonymous gameplay data
We record a minimal, anonymous play log — which parts of the game were reached, in what order and when — to see where children play on and where they stop. This data is tied only to the anonymous device identifier above. It contains no personal information and is used solely to operate and improve the game's content.
Device data
So the game can run correctly on a device, the app sends basic technical information about it, such as an installation identifier provided by the operating system (not the advertising identifier), the device model and software versions, and its language, and we determine the country in which the device is used. None of that technical information is used for advertising or profiling, and it is erased together with the device record.
Questions for the parent
The app may ask the adult setting it up a few questions about the child and the goals for the game. The answers are kept with the anonymous device record and erased together with it.
App Store ads
We advertise Truck Doctor in the App Store and measure how well those ads work.
What we do not collect
We do not collect or request names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, precise geolocation, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, or any other information that identifies you or your child. The Service has no user accounts and no login.
How We Use Information
The limited, anonymous information described above is used only to:
- run the game and remember a device's progress between visits;
- tailor the app to a parent's answers;
- understand, in aggregate and anonymously, which content works well so we can improve it;
- keep the Service secure and working correctly;
- see which of our own App Store ads work.
We show no advertising inside the app, and we do not use any information to track users across other apps or websites, to build a profile of anyone, or for automated decision-making.
Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or share information with third parties for their own purposes. Like any online service, we rely on a small number of providers to run it. They act as our processors: they handle data on our behalf, under contract, only as needed to provide their service, and none of them receives a name, an email address, or any other way to identify a child.
- Hosting. Our servers run the game and store the anonymous device record.
- RevenueCat handles subscription status on our behalf.
- Sentry receives technical fault reports so that we can fix them.
Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play, and payment details never reach us. The Service contains no third-party advertising and performs no behavioral tracking of users. Where data is transferred outside your country, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law.
Data Retention and Your Choices
The device record and its play log are kept for as long as the app is installed and in use — the game reads that history on every launch to remember where the child is. Deletion is in your hands and takes effect immediately:
In the parent area, behind the parental gate, choose to delete all data. This permanently erases the device record and its entire play history from our servers. Step-by-step instructions are on our Data Deletion page. That does not reach the copies our providers hold for us — write to us and we will have those deleted too.
Children's Privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The anonymous play log supports the internal operation of the Service and is not used for behavioral advertising or to build a profile of any child. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we might hold any information relating to your child, please contact us using the details below and we will address it promptly.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we handle. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
